BWHC Hosted an International Training of Trainers (TOT#1) of Breaking the Cycle Project

Bangladesh Women’s Health Coalition (BWHC) hosted and participated an International Training of Trainers (TOT#2).This training program was under Breaking the Cycle Project. Breaking the Cycle is a project co-funded by the European Commission, within the Aid for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices, in the Erasmus + Youth Capacity Building. This project coordinated by the Centro Rural Joven Vida CERUJOVI association and has a duration of one year.It has the participation of organizations from six countries, with extensive experiences in the field: CERUJOVI (Spain), KEDE (Greece), Youth First (Madagascar), LACC (Nepal), CHSJ (India) and BWHC (Bangladesh).

This Training Program was arranged CCDB Hope Foundation, Savar, Dhaka . It was a Nine (9) day long training program started at 20 February and ended on 28 February.

Six participants/youth volunteers from BWHC attended this training program.They were Sadia Sultana Sara,Tanisha Khondkar,Sheikh Marufa Nabila,Salma Anzum,Mum Biswas, Md. Abdullah Al Mamun and Md. Roni Mridha. The BWHC Executive Director Sharif Mostafa Helal was Trainer from Bangladesh and Reproductive and Sexual Health Right expert Akkur Chandra Das took a session from BWHC side.

This training program included different session, study visit, cultural exchange activities. All the session was on Gender Based Violence (GBV).All session was interactive and enjoyable including BWHC session on Sexual and Reproductive health and Rights.

BWHC is proud because this organization maintains their past reputation for arranging such kind of successful international program.
