A special meeting of the Executive Committee of BWHC was held on 27 October 2025 at 11:00 AM in the organization’s conference room. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Jahanara Sadeque, Chairperson of BWHC.

All Executive Committee members were present and punctual, except Prof. Dr. Rowshan Ara Begum. Attendees included Vice-Chairperson Mr. Kazi Ali Reza, Treasurer Ms. Qumrun Nahar, and members Ms. Rayhana Begum, Ms. Munima Sultana, and Ms. Maleka Begum. Mr. Sharif Mostafa Helal, Executive Director and Member Secretary of the EC, also participated and provided updates on BWHC’s resource mobilization efforts—particularly regarding the recently awarded SCORE Programme, funded by HelpAge International.

At the outset, the Chairperson expressed gratitude to the members for their presence. The committee extended congratulations on securing two new projects, notably the SIDA-funded SCORE Programme through HelpAge International.

The Executive Director informed the committee that the SCORE project is scheduled to run from August 2025 to December 2028, with an initial contract signed through March 2026. He noted that implementation guidance had only recently been received due to delays in the deployment of the Program Manager at HelpAge International.

Following a detailed discussion of the agenda items, the board provided several key recommendations and decisions. These included adopting a new agreement modality for BWHC’s core staff. The committee also emphasized the importance of full engagement with HelpAge Network Partners in Bangladesh and approved the proposed staffing structure for the SCORE project.
